How Does This Work? What Do I Need to Know?
Enzymes break down the protein bonds holding dead skin cells to the skin's outer layer. This mask basically sheds off the dead skin cells and leaves the younger skin cells in tact, leaving a beautiful glow! Because enzymes only target the already loosened corneocytes, exfoliation is more selective and less irritating than traditional chemical peels. It is important to protect the skin barrier with moisturizers and SPF to protect the fresh outer layer of skin.
